Terms of Service

The agreement that covers the site, the live workshop and the 21-day practice delivered by email.

Last Updated on September 14, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Dyer Life (“we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your use of this website (the “Site”) and everything we offer through it or in connection with it, including The Last 5 Minutes live workshop, the 21-day practice delivered by email, and related content (together, the “Services”). By using the Site or registering for any of the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the Services.

Registration is completed through third-party platforms (our checkout and community platform, Circle, and our payment processor, Stripe). Those platforms have their own terms, which apply in addition to these Terms when you use them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to register. By using the Services you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

3. Educational nature of the Services; not medical or mental-health care

The Last 5 Minutes is an educational personal-reflection experience, not medical or mental-health care. Everything on the Site and in the Services is educational and personal-development content shared for general information. Nothing in it is medical, psychological, financial, legal or other professional advice, diagnosis or treatment, and taking part does not create a practitioner–patient, therapist–client or other professional relationship.

Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions about a medical or mental-health condition, including any concerns about your sleep, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read, watched or heard through the Services. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions.

4. The live workshop and the 21-day practice

The live workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:15 PM Eastern Time, and takes place online. The workshop details and access information are sent to the email address used at registration. You are responsible for having a suitable device and internet connection.

The 21-day practice is delivered by email, one day at a time, beginning after the live workshop. Please add our sending address to your contacts and check your spam or promotions folders if an email does not arrive.

If we need to change the date or time of the workshop, we will tell you by email as early as we reasonably can. Access links are personal to you: please do not share them, and do not record, rebroadcast or redistribute the live session or the practice emails.

5. Registration, prices and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change at any time; changes do not affect registrations already made. Prices exclude taxes, which will be added at checkout where applicable. Payment is processed by our checkout platform and its payment processors; we do not store your full payment card details.

By completing a registration you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method and that the information you provide is accurate. We may cancel a registration if we suspect fraud, a pricing error or a breach of these Terms, in which case we will refund any payment made for it.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Any refund terms shown at checkout for your registration apply. In addition:

  • If we cancel the workshop and do not offer a new date, or we move it and you cannot attend the new date, we will refund your registration in full.
  • For any other refund request, contact us at team@thedyerlife.com from the address used at registration, before the workshop begins, with your order reference. We review each request in good faith.
  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within a reasonable time; your bank or card issuer may take additional days to show the credit. When a refund is issued, access to the workshop and the practice emails ends.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded.

7. Intellectual property and your licence

All content on the Site and in the Services — including teachings, text, video, audio, images, illustrations, emails, names, logos and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Registering gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the materials for your own private, non-commercial practice.

You may not copy, record, download (except where we provide a download), reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, teach from, create derivative works from, or otherwise use any content commercially or share it publicly without our prior written permission. Short quotations with attribution for personal, non-commercial purposes are welcome. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, other accounts or connected systems; interfere with the Site's operation, security or other people's access; use scrapers, bots or automated means to access the Site except for search-engine indexing; upload or transmit malicious code; impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; or harass, abuse or disrupt others during the live workshop or in any communication connected with the Services. We may remove anyone from a live session who does.

9. Questions and other submissions

If you send us questions, feedback, testimonials or other material ("Submissions"), including questions for the live Q&A, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights. You keep ownership of your Submissions. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, edit for length or clarity, and share them in connection with the Services — for example, answering your question during the workshop. We will not publish your name with a testimonial without your permission, and you can withdraw permission for future use by contacting us.

10. Experiences and results

Stories and examples shared on the Site and in the Services illustrate what the practice can look like. They are not a promise or guarantee of any particular result. Your experience will depend on many factors, including your own practice and circumstances, and may differ.

11. Third-party services and links

The Services use and link to third-party platforms and content, including our checkout and community platform, video hosting and online meeting tools. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, content, policies or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of harmful components. We do not warrant any particular outcome from taking part.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our owners, team, contractors and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or related to the Site or Services, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Site or Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim arose and one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us and our owners, team, contractors and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your Submissions, or your misuse of the Site or Services.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other participants. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law) will survive. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located there, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere or provides mandatory protections that cannot be excluded.

Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at team@thedyerlife.com; we will do the same. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email where we have your address. Continued use of the Site or Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to registrations already made.

18. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any terms shown at the point of registration, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of our business. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms, your registration, refunds or access can be sent to team@thedyerlife.com.
